Tommy;
I have an idea. Since you are coming to the Ribfest in St. Pete; why not book in Ruth Eckerd Hall? I am convinced that a coffee-house style concert with a lot of acoustic music would be well received. Kind of an intimate, kick your shoes off, kind of concert. Playing some of the old stuff and the "hits" in their acoustic beginnings. Then a short intermission and close the show out with an electric set.

I missed out on an opportunity to meet y'all and would like another invitation.

Keep on rockin'!

Is it possible that Pat, Jr. may open at the Newport News, Va concert? Sure hope so! We have seen him onstage during Listen to the Music from the time he was not much bigger than the guitar he was playing. I would love to hear him play, it sounds like he has a good set to the audience to enjoy!

As a young guitarist, I loved Glen Campbell and sang may of his songs. I still have several of his albums. Gentle on My Mind, Witchita Lineman, Galveston are some of my favorite songs. I think it is great that John is working with Glen. He is such an awesome musician. They both are! I just saw Kenny Rogers in concert last month; I don't know why the Doobies have not bee on CMT Crossroads as they do some great bluegrass and country songs, they had Michael McDonald who is great, but I sure cannot think of any country songs that he has performed.
Well, back to subject, I'm happy for you, John! But, I also believe Glen is lucky to have you playing with him!
