I just saw the Doobies with Bad Co. at the DTE in Detroit, and though the music was absolutely great, I seriously wanted to go over to the sound board and SMACK the “Sound Man???” in the head. The kick was just a tad overbearing, and you could not hear Skylark’s Bass at all. I’ve worked as a sound man for many different bands over the past 20 years, and this guy should be ashamed to call himself one. But still, the show was great, the vocals were right on, and it very much shows that nobody in the Doobies has lost a step. They sound as great as they did in the 70’s. I don’t mean to sound overly critical, but I am very particular about how a band sounds. And if there is someone in the band that is not being heard, then it takes just a little bit away from the show. Consequently, we did hear the bass player for Bad Co.

Thank you thank you thank you for the great show in Canandaigua, NY last night! You guys are truly amazing musicians - and put on a great show! I am looking forward to the new album - hearing a taste of it last night has me chomping at the bit to get it. Mike, glad you are healthy and back playing - thank you so much for the drumstick!

The book looks fantastic, Cris, and I am really happy that my 81 year old Mom, Ruth Baer Arnold, made it into your book. My grandfather, Fritzie Baer, would have been thrilled with your book as motorcycles were his life.

I couldn’t have been more then 7 years old early 70’s. I grow up in “New Almaden” in Ca/ I don’t know who of the band would play on porch near some of my parents friends house. on the way out right before the bridge the was the DR. house.
