Update on Michael Hossack and Skylark

20 January, 2012 (13:37) | News

The Doobie Brothers’ management have issued the following statement regarding the health of Doobie Brothers drummer Michael Hossack and touring bassist Skylark (both of whom have been unable to tour since 2010 due to unrelated issues.)

Michael Hossack is improving slowly. He sends his regards to all our fans. He’s still working on health issues but getting better. We will keep you updated on a regular basis.

Skylark visited the band at their Las Vegas gig in January. They got to hang out and it was a good time. He is improving daily, but is not able to travel or go on tour yet. He also sends his love out to the fans!

For more information regarding their specific circumstances, read the blog posts written by Michael Hossack and Skylark in 2010, as well as a new post from Skylark.

Yesterday I saw a tow truck simultaneously towing three vehicles ,a twisted motorcycle,a wrecked taxi and another awful looking thing that I couldn’t make out-it was quite unnerving. Then I noticed BIG MIKE was driving and I felt that is was under control. Mr Hossack not only are you one of the finest drummers I have ever seen perform you are a Great person. We miss you(duh). Hope to see you soon.
