Can I go with them? I’ve always considered myself an honorary member of The Doobie
Brothers. Nobody rolls a Doobie faster or better than me. Nobody! I Listen To The
Music , and I’ve heard New Zealand has a White Sun, and if you can make it to down to Greenwood Creek, you and the Snakeman might very well Rock On Down The Highway on Black Water where you just might Cheat The Hangman(I’ve cheated him
many times before)and reach Ukiah or possibly China Grove which is just down
below San Anto. I’ve always wanted to write a rock & roll book, loosely titled “Every Song Tells A Story” but have been thinking lateley that it should be called “Listen To The Music, because this is a story that really needs to be told. The Music Man

Doobies just thundered through Taupo, NZ. Fifteen-thousand fans witnessed John Cowan,Ed Toth and Tony Pia provide the power to the wheels of the juggernaut as Messrs Johnston,Simmons and McFee shook the Riverside Ampitheatre. Mark ‘the reed’ Russo’s trademark tenor sax resonated with the fans long are the finale. Great to hear the “World Gone Crazy” material live. The vibe was great and the concert all class.
