It would be “A Brighter Day” if the music industry would recognize the great talent and great performances of The Doobie Brothers. They can’t get any better – saw them at Westbury, NY Sat, Nov. 5th and they rocked the house (as usual). Why have The Doobie Brothers been overlooked. Should have gotten into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame many years ago. Great music by great performers who write their own “great music”. Love this band xoxox

Over the past four years me and my wife of 35 plus years have had a glimmer of hope for music, and now when World Gone Crazy came out cemented our hope for young people to hear rock and roll at it’s best in this new century. We first seen the Doobies and Chicago in Turning Stone last year I brought my 33 year old daughter and her husband, I’ve seen the Beatles, Woodstock , Stones twice and many more, this concert brought tears to my eyes. Amazing we brought tickets at SPAC the next night. Outstanding, as our bodies age it also up lifting seeing these guys work so hard, and with so much love of their trade. Thank You from Marilyn and Bill

A wonderful uplifting song in these chaotic times..I love listening to “A Brighter day” the first song on the recent “World Gone Crazy” smash CD. The tremendous backup choir vocals was a great idea and Tommy’ Johnston’s voice couldn’t be better. This wonderful uplifting song gives mankind hope of A brighter day ahead..seen from a young child who has eyes to see. I can’t hardly wait to see you guys in Colorado in 2012..did somebody say.. RED ROCKS? God bless you guys we love you! -Larry Golden, Co. your #1 fan

Have you heard the song recently posted on YouTube The Doobie Brothers early 70′s song ” Bluejay”? Tommy Johnston singing lead and the beautiful back ground harmony of the band? OMG..this song remade on the next album would be so beautiful and so perfect..I hope the guys consider. Ukiah also has never got it’s due. The first time I saw the band was in the summer of 1975 in Wichita, Kansas at an indoor venue, and Patrick Simmons was smoking on stage and stuffed his still lit cigarette in the end of his guitar strings..so he could finish it after the song. About that time someone in the crowd handed me something that smelled funny..slightly fatter than a cigarette..
