I see the Doobie Brothers whenever they are in the NY area, in fact 4 times in the past couple of years. It is completely and totally insane that they are not in the Rock Hall of Fame. That has got to be personal or political in some way……and those responsible are in my Hall of Shame!

Thanks for 40years of great music……..I think of different parts of my life in relation to some of the great Doobie Brothers music!

I have seen the Band many times and had great time meeting you all. These are the nicest guys you could every meet and the most talented. I think I have to order your new CD again! I think I wore out the first one. I have a funny story. The when I was playing in my band we covered your band. I got a copy of Listen to the music and I was learning the vocals and the drum part and I could figure how the drummer was getting the sound I was hearing. After working on it for hours the only thing I could do is to try to play with two pair of sticks. What I should not have done was try to do it on a job. Needless to say I had to drop a pair and stop singing long enough to make sure I still had one pair. I never had seen a picture of the band and didn’t know you had two drummers in the Band. You have a special group of guys and the only sad thing is to think you will stop tour so due me a favor and keep doing all those gigs. Take care and hope to see you soon.

Was at the concert at Jones Beach last week – Tommy sure can get the crowd up and rockin. The performance was ssssoooo good. The Doobies always deliver. Can’t believe they have not made the Rock and roll Hall of Fame. Nevertheless, The DoobieBrothers are No 1 to all their fans. Just go to a performance and it is evident how much we love their music. I love you guys – see you in November at Westbury LI. xoxox

It seems to me – that if you played for most people these Doobie Brothers releases from the past year – World Gone Crazy CD, the archival Doobies DVD from World Gone Crazy, the CMT Crossroads show with Luke Bryan and the 1982 Live from the Greek CD & DVD – you have about as strong a resume as you can get for entry into the rrhof – and this is just what has been released in the past 12 months! The Doobie Brothers – great “back in the day” and great now!

I attended my first Doobie Brothers concert last night in Kettering, Ohio at the Fraze Pavilion. I had always liked their music but was blown away by the musical dynamics they displayed on stage, the variety of styles, the quality and sophistication of the vocals and the over-all presentation. They are a truely talented group of mucisians who have honed their craft and have developed a special chemistry with one another and their audience.
