Mountain Heart hosts The Doobie Brothers on their radio show

Nashville, TN (April 4, 2011) – On Tuesday, April 5, members of the iconic rock group, the Doobie Brothers will be special guests on That Just Happened with Mountain Heart, the national radio show hosted by multi-award winning group, Mountain Heart. The program will broadcast on WSM-AM 650 at 2:00pm CT; 3:00pm ET and stream live on www.wsmonline.com

Mountain Heart’s Jim VanCleve and Josh Shilling will co-host the show and talk to Doobie Brothers bandmates Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons and John McFee about celebrating 40 years of touring and recording. They will also feature several songs from their latest album, World Gone Crazy, which was released last fall on HOR Records.

THAT JUST HAPPENED WITH MOUNTAIN HEART premiered in February 2011 and continues to air the first Tuesday of every month.

Earlier this year, Mountain Heart released, That Just Happened, a 7-song EP that’s nationally distributed by Select-O-Hits and available in retailers across the country. The new disc is also available online at popular music sites including iTunes and Amazon,  as well as, the band’s website, www.mountainheart.com.

Mountain Heart is currently headlining their own shows at various music festivals and Performing Arts Centers. Their highly-charged concerts have made them one of the most popular progressive bluegrass/roots bands in the world.
