I am an American living in Germany . I applied for a chance to win the guitar with my German address. I then tried to reapply with my American address. I was denied. Do I get another chance to apply?

Me and my 13 year old son went to Gothenburg (sweden) to see zztop. All I knew for sure about DB was that they made long train running.
I saw a bunch of old (sorry) guys that enjoyed what they did. I wish I had listened to more of their music before going to concert. Now I´m listening to DB on spotify.
It was a great deal to get DB along with ZZ top.

I am a huge long time fan so keep on “Rockin Down the Highway” and I hope to see you guys somewhere out on the road next year. Also, Thank you for the awesome Guitar offer. After seeing them from 1975 in the Kansas City area for most of my life. They have been here more than times than any other band I ever saw. They come, I go, period. No band has made music so good as the Brothers. Life changes as we all do and the Doobies are part of that changes as I changed with them too.
I thank them them for staying together. The music lives on

I got to London and Manchester. Both excellent but Manchester had the better sound quality. I’ve seen the Doobies 5 times now. Manchester’s gig was the best so far. I hope I’ll catch up with them again. If so, I want to sing along with “My Baby” from the latest CD. So simple and yet so infectious! That Tom Johnston bloke has cost me so much money. He opened my ears in 1973 and 2000 albums later, from all kinds of artists, they still repsond to his riffs!!

I was notified by e-mail alert that the new album was out so, I went to this site to learn about it and discovered the guitar give-a-way contest. Upon attempting to enter, I received an “error” message which claimed “someone” had already entered from my ip address. While “someone” probably did enter USING my ip address, IT WAS NOT ME!!! No one has accessed this contest from this physical computer/location.
Is this being experienced by any other Doobie fans out there? How do I go about clearing my ip address from this hijacking?

Very sorry to hear about your issue. A lot of ISPs actually rotate IP addresses for their customers out of a roving pool, so it’s quite possible that at some point, the IP address you had at one time was in use by somebody else in your area, who happened to also enter the contest. I’m a bit surprised that the contest itself relies on blind IP address verification alone, typically these things are a bit more sophisticated to prevent these kinds of issues while still preventing fraud effectively. I will speak to the agency that created the form about this.
Sadly, there’s not much you can do. You can try going to a coffee shop with free wireless internet, use a smart phone browser, or you can try a web proxy. Most web proxies are free for basic browsing, but won’t let you submit web forms without paying a monthly fee. Best of luck!

Seen the Doobie Brothers last night at the Luhrs Center in Shippensburg, PA. Enjoyed the great music very much. It was a pleasure to see and hear skilled and very talented musicians. Have been a fan since the 70′s. The new album World Gone Crazy is a refreshing great sound to hear. You don’t hear good music like The Doobie Brothers do anymore. Keep rockin Doobie’s the music industry and all your fans need you.

My family and I saw Doobie Brothers at Musikfest, Bethlehem, PA in summer 2010 and again at Caesars Palace, Atlantic City in May 2010. Both performances were outstanding in sound. The Doobie Brothers are phenomenonally technical musicians. The sound of their music is so well syncronized and so upbeat. Both my husband and I have been fans since our college days in the seventies. Now, our children, in their twenties, accompany us to Doobie concerts, too!
My husband and I always celebrate our wedding anniversary each year by attending a Doobie Brothers concert. Please keep bringing ‘the’ music to Atlantic City, N.J. and Pennsylvania!
Thanks for helping us hear music everywhere after one of your concerts. We tend to play all your albums again and again!
