What a fantastic treat!!!! Sometimes I wish the power would go out and the guys would do this impromptu acoustic stuff all the time. “Nobody” can harmonize like these guys!
Peace, Holly

Forty years aint S#%T. While the DOOBIES dont play my favorite music, they are my favorite band, if that makes any sense. No way you could have pulled that off so beautifully 40 years ago. Like Doobie Red You get better with age. I’ve always wondered what you guys are like, what kind of personalities you have sense of humor ETC… Busses instead of planes , wives instead groupies, irons instead of whatever, I wont go there. I wish I could find out more. Thankyou for these memories, it’s good stuff. Keep rockin.

I see the Doobies every time they come to a city that is close to where I am so I was totally bummed when I heard they played the Mile High Music Fest without me knowing until afterwards so I couldn’t get out there. But I was stoked driving to work on Monday when KBCO (greatest radio station in the country by the way, world class rock, play a lot of Doobies) played the Studio C set. Can’t wait to see the band in Tulsa on Sept 30th, just a couple days after the World Goes Crazy!!!

Wow guys! This little beauty of an acoustic session was such a great treat that made my day even better! Your harmony together is just flawless and the endings of each song with those final notes is a nice touch; such musical genius. Thank you for posting this!
Also, “Nobody “is a great video I enjoyed watching. What a joy to watch those beautiful blessed hands up close and in action! So much fun sharing in your then and now footage too. You know, the more I listen to your music, I have concluded that you really are all that special and more!
And thank you to whoever chose Westbury Theater as a venue for you to perform. Everyone who can possibly come to this show will totally enjoy the intimate setting of this theater. Can’t wait to see how you all fit on that stage:)

Hope you enjoy every moment of all the excitement that lies ahead of you with your upcoming CD (yes, I pre-ordered and can’t wait)!

That was fun. Really looking forward to seeing you all in SLC this coming Sunday. It’s been five years – way too long.

And I agree KBCO is a fantastic station. Head and shoulders above anything we have in Utah. When ever I visit the sis in Ft. Collins the radio stays set on 97.3.

I LOVE these acoustic recordings – are you guys going to do an acoustic CD or a VHI “Storytellers Unplugged” show any time soon? That would be amazing. VHI would be lucky to have you! :)
