First comes your health, but I do have to say that your are missed dearly, your energy as a Doobie is hard to match. I did meet with Pat and Cris S. and asked to pass on our well wishes and we hope to see you again with the Doobies. We are in Colorado Springs, CO. and if you ever get out this way please look us up, oh yea, if you can talk some of the other guys to come along you can bring them with. Just want to let you know that you are very special to all the Doobie fans.

Skylark, I am so sorry to hear of your condition. My thoughts and prayers are with you for sure. I gotta say brotha….your soul moves me like no other. I went to see the Doobies on tour with Chicago a few years back and not only was that the best show that I have EVER been to (and that wasn’t my first rodeo), but I found you and your energy to be absolutely infectious. I found myself mesmerized by you, being you. As big a fan I am of Tommy, Pat, John, Mike and the band in general, I have to say that my take away from that show was your stage presence. As a player myself and having played with an assortment of musicians over the years, I walked a way from that show feeling your energy, excitement and enjoyment. You made me feel good, and THAT, my brother, is the heart and soul of music!!!…………..God speed and get yourself whole. This world needs you doing what you do!

i just wanted to tell you how much i enjoyed your playing when i saw the doobies in biloxi ms in 2010. you spoke to me as you left the building. thanks for taking the time. i’ll keep you in my prayers and thoughts.
get well, and rememeber god will not put more on us than we can take. he has a plan for you. look at this as something new and exciting coming your way. he is with you.
