Can’t wait for the release date. “Back to the Chateau” one of my favorites already. In late 1972 I heard “Long Train Runnin” and I’ve been hooked ever since. Tommy & Pat – thank you for all the years of great music. You sound just as good live. Band members have come and gone but the band as it is now can really rock the house. Missing Keith but we have the music to remember him by. Love you guys and looking forward to seeing you May 1 – Atlantic City and July 10 at Jones Beach. Can’t get enough of it! With much love, Angela “RoadAngel” Moraglia

Been a long time coming but we all know it will be worth the wait! Heard “Back to the Chateau” played live at the Saratoga gig last september. If the rest of the tunes are as good we are in for a treat. Just hope the Album we be available here in the UK at the same time as its release in the States. Did the 10,000 mile round trip last year for the concert, but its a little too far to pop across for a CD.
Keep on Rockin Down the Highway guys, hopefuly all the way the UK one day soon.

Mark from Fargo and I can barely wait for the new album, along with all the many, many Doobie fans. As for releases, how about looking at some delivery concept with Harley Davidson (buy an album and register your local dealership for hosting one of three national concerts in the cities of the dealership), while making the album available through various retail chains as a more typical simultaneous retail release, or maybe take a cue from the Eagles and work out something with Walmart. Good luck and hurry, there’s not much time left of 2010!!!!!!!!

This is great news, and is long overdue! Come back to Nashville ASAP! Y’all have been my favorite band from the first time I heard you back in the 70′s. I also saw you live in the 80′s & 90′s, and will HAVE to see you again soon! I can’t wait for the cd/dvd! I’ve owned Doobies 8-tracks, cassettes, 33′s, 45′s, and have everything on cd. This will be my first Doobies DVD! Very Cool!!!

interesting rumor about Mike McD. had my own suspicions since he has been showing up things such as Gail Swanson’s new album and the Willie’s song a year or so ago. That would be great fun especially if they could put a tour together along those lines. The combination would fill up larger arenas i suspect. I heard Chateau twice last year: Evansville and Aspen (what a combination of locations!) it did sound great and inventive – solo was unexpected …

With BIll Payne involved in the studio I would have thought “Old Folks Boogie” would be worth considering for the title:)

Been a fan from day one! Stampede is one of my favorites, but love them all. When i bought my stereo sytem back in the early seventies, i had them (Rodgers Sound Lab) put on “Daughters of the Sea” in a sound room and crank it up! “Unbelievable” never ever forget that, such an incredible song. Can’t wait for the new release. Rock On!

Can’t wait until the cd/dvd will be available. I have seen the band a few years back in Holland and in 1974 on a festival here in Hilversum with the Allman Brothers Band.
And they are still one of the best. Maybe they will return to Europe some day.

Fantastic….I have a sneaking suspicion that this is going to be a fantastic album. Why? Becuase those who take their time recording have even better selection of which songs to select from and use on CD. Hope they can get the distributor to offer a few on Vinyl for us audiophiles…..great news from a Great Band of Musicians and grerat people too. To below they are coming to Jiffy Lube Live with Chicago ……lets all hook up like we do at Wolf Trap!

Sometimes bands try to hang on a little too long. Not so with you guys. I had the pleasure of seeing you at the Wind Creek Casino in Atmore,Al. last week & you guys were awsom. Your vocals were as strong as ever & your guitars rocked. Although I live in Florida, I work in Louisiana and will be seeing you again at the Gretna Heritage Fest Oct 2. Look forward to your new cd. Gentlemen….It’s about time. Been waitin’ so long for this. Let’s just say I’ve been a fan… FOREVER.
I’m a proud fan for 41 years. The Touloose Street album started it all for me at the age of eight. Thanks guys! Keep rockin’!
Looking forward to the 2010 tour coming to Boston. If there’s any chance for a bus stop in New Hampshire, I’ll pay to see you twice. Thanks Ted Templeman for getting back on board to produce the new album. Best band ever LIVE…never a disappointment. Just wish you guys would play longer. All my best to Tommy, Pat, Mike and everyone else for a healthy and prosperous tour.

Been listening since 1973 and seen you play at the Hampton Beach Casino, Hampton, NH and at the Boston Garden. Just saw you play in Boston on Tues July 6, 2010 at the Bank of America Pravillion. Loved hearing you live. Would of liked to have heard you play all three hours but appreciated the time you played on stage. You still play w/heart and soul like you did back when you first started. Thanks for coming to Boston and hope to see you there again real soon.

Saw the Doobs at Hullabalou at Churchill Downs Friday July 23rd. They had the best set out of 35 bands playing over three days! They should have been a headliner! Have seen them 3 times of the past 25 years and this was the best show yet! If you are under 35… I am sorry…Your music sucks.

Dave and I had tickets for Manchester Apollo UK for 1st Nov 2010. Just en route to the gig when we had a call from Macclesfield Hospital to say get over there asap so we turned the car around and headed there. My Dad had passed away an hour earlier! So the tickets are still in the envelope unused. Needs must but we were so looking forward to the gig as it was our first time to see them. Maybe next time if ever they tour in UK again. Missing Dad.
