CBS Sunday Morning Appearance
On March 28th, CBS Sunday Morning featured Doobie Brother Pat Simmons, and his wife Cristine Sommer-Simmons, author of The American Motorcycle Girls: 1900 to 1950.
The piece discusses the various contributions of women within the motorcycling community, and the lifestyle of those who are part of this great American tradition. Some of the women who appear in Cristine’s book are featured. Additionally, the show details how Pat originally met Cristine at a motorcycle rally in Sturgis, South Dakota, and how their mutual love of the hobby brought them together.
