A release date in 2010 would mark a 40th anniversary year just nicely.
Once the mixes are in the ‘can’ how bout some sample teasers to whet the appetite.

I already have my tickets for Jones Beach – wouldn’t miss the show. Looking forward to some new music from the new CD. I’ve been a fan since I first heard Long Train Runnin. I will forever love and will “Listen to the Music” of the Doobies. I love you guys and thank you for all the years of great music. Lots of Love, Angela “RoadAngel” Moraglia.

Wow! I just found out that one of the true great rock bands of all time are coming to my city, Salt Lake City, Utah in August. For me, it has always been the 5 star musicianship and superb songwriting with the Doob’s that put them in my top 10 bands of all time which includes the Beatles, Stevie Ray Vaughan/Double Trouble, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers and the Eagles. Too Cool!

Can’t wait for new tunes!
Going to see The Doobs in Red Bank, and hope to catch them with Chicago at The PNC.
As a long time fan going back to 1975, this band never ceases to amaze me with their musicianship
and energy. In my opinion one of the greatest American bands of all time!
Keep rockin’ and see you in NJ!

As a long timer, I have seen The Doobies many, many times, and there are some songs that they usually don’t play on tour. So.. how about your favs you’d like to hear live.
Mine in no particular order: Rocking Horse, Sweet Maxine, Living on the Fault Line, Disciple, and
Road Angel.

I’m going to ask the same question I asked regarding the Doobies/Chicago tour last year, which got deleted. Could you please have the courtesy to answer it this time, even via email?
I’d love to see the Doobies in concert again, as it’s been 15 years since I last have. However I can’t stand Chicago. If others like them great, I don’t. Before I invest my heard earned money for the tickets & motel room, (closest date to me is KC, & that’s three hours away), I’d like to know which band will be the first act at KC? If it’s the Doobies, great, I can get there early, see them, & be on my way home, without spending two nights in KC. If not, I’ll likely have to bw there two nights, & make arrangements on what to do if Chicago plays first.
Please let me know the answer, whether or not you decide to delete this.

Mark,
2 years ago at The PNC in NJ, Doobies opened and played for about 90 mins. Chicago followed for approx. the same time. Doobies then joined Chicago on stage for about another 30 mins.
Can’t say if that will be the case this year.

Does any one know who (which Doobies) will be performing on their spring/summer tour?

The touring lineup is listed on the Biography page. The only exception is Skylark, who is on leave due to health circumstances, so filling in for him is John Cowan (who played with the Doobie Brothers in the early 90s.)

I love the Doobies, but why do they not play South City Midnight Lady anymore? Very disappointed that last year’s show had NO pedal steel at all.

Does anyone know if Michael McDonald will be making any tour stops with the Doobies this year? I’m especially interested in the St. Louis (Maryland Heights Mo.) show.

Why does no one list who plays first? It’s a real inconvenience for concertgoers to not be able to find out any information about the concert they’re attending. That’s not customer friendly. I guess concert promoters think of us as cattle to be used.

Yes, would be nice to understand who plays first as I have to navigate babysitter timing, etc. Is this possible?

I just got back from a Doobie Bros/Chicago concert just outside of DC. Michael McDonald wasn’t with them. They did about 45 minutes, then Chicago did the same and both bands played 3 or 4 of each group’s songs. It was GREAT!

Saw the Saratoga and Mike Hossack wasn’t with the band. Anybody know why? Hope he’s OK. The guy replacing him was spot on though! Great show all around.
