Happy Birthday Pat. I’ve been a fan since living in the Bay Area since the 70′s. My family and I caught your last show in Vegas and just want more. Waiting for another video to play over and over. Love seeing interviews and photos of you and your family. I would love to go to B.R. Cohn festival next year with my girlfriends. My dream is to one day meet you and your wife, you guys seem so cool. Thank you for all the music and for making me feel alive and happy.

I’ve been a fan since the early 70′s and tried to never miss a doobie concert. They havent been to our city Cleveland Ohio in a few years . The Rockin Roll Hall of Fame city misses you guys ,please come back.Also I think the Doobie Brothers should be inducted into the Rockin Roll Hall of Fame. Still rockin after all these years. Doobie Fans unite ,lets get them in there !

I just got back late last night from the Washington State University Dad’s Weekend. What an amazing treat to see you guys perform live! I remember starting out in the 70′s listening to your music on 8 track, then Vinyl, then Cassette, to CD to ipod, and finally LIVE! I kept thinking during your concert how happy this music makes me feel! I was also happy my daughter new all of the words to your songs(she should by now…)!!! Thanks for all of the years of making people feel good by letting us Listen To The Music! Hope to see you in Washington again soon! Take care, John

Saw your show last night at the Little-Creek venue. Good to see a ya’ll can still ‘Rock-The-House’, but I hope the sound system was a house syetem and not yours. The harmonies were great but individual vocals seemed ‘muddy’ or non-existant at times (result of the end of a long tour-or bad mix?) sorry guy’s but have to let you know. Having run live sound systems (from the club circuit to outdoor shows) I may be a little too critical, but when the vocals are continually drowned out by the drums its time to adjust the mix. There were times I wish people weren’t so caught up in the ‘excitement praise’ of the show and let the group know when it just ‘wasn’t right’. Just my opinion, but the area I was in started to lose fans about halfway through your set.

Hi Pat,
I’ve never met you, but we are 1st cousins. Your Dad Roy was my Dad’s brother. My sister Joanne gave me tickets to your concert at Little Creek for my 59th birthday (October and my husband and I will be there. I just found out that another 1st cousin and her husband will be there too. Her name is Michelle Parks, and she is the daughter of your uncle Pat Simmons. I will be meeting her for the first time at your performance. Neither of us grew up knowing our fathers’ family. If you are at all interested in getting together with family in Washington, we would love to hear from you. We will be in Shelton early afternoon Friday. If you want to meet us pleas email me. Hope to meet you at some point either here or in Hawaii where we have a condo.
