Hi guys,
Our band Mr. J. follows you on the midway stage at the Douglas County Fair in Roseburg, Oregon on August 6th. We are honored and thrilled, and are HUGE fans. The msot memorable show for me was about 1981, at Del Mar Raceway north of San Diego with the Michael Stanley band opening (how about that for the few active brain cells remaining?). You & the other greats from that era inspired me to be a player & performer. We are planning to catch your show before we play that night, depending on setup issues, etc. Might we have the opportunity to meet or hang out with you in some way that night, or watch your show from back stage or the wings? We are local pros, and won’t step on your toes (hey, a rhyme for a tune:). If that’s at all possible, we’d be honored, and have a huge group of our fans coming up to see you and then us.

Ed’s website doesn’t seem to be working (4/1/08). This is not an April Fool’s joke!
